Apples and Bananas (9/23/2018)

I went to bed early last night, but didn’t get the best night’s sleep since the hubby is sick. Once I got some coffee in me I was good to go for work. It was a pretty busy day meaning we didn’t really have time for lunch, but we did grab some great food to eat on the go. My photographer’s buddy from high school owns a restaurant in Hyde Park and we just happened to be driving by when we were ready to pick up something. The jerk chicken tacos were on point.

Tonight I introduced DD and MJ to a place I’ve been telling them about for years- Twin Anchors. My parents like simple food, so finding casual places to take them isn’t always easy. Twin Anchors hit it out of the park. We had ribs and onion rings and it was all delicious. Jarmon stayed home to nurse his cold and we brought him takeout. Arabella was a little angel. I think she was just wondering how much older she has to be before she gets to try the BBQ sauce. Sorry, baby, it’s going to be a while… But this week you graduate from bananas to apples!
